Course Name: Bloodborne Pathogen Refresher
Description: In this 2-hour class, participants will learn how to protect themselves from exposure to blood and other materials that may be infectious. This course is available in an online format at www.ersintl.org.
Prerequisites: None
Requirements Met: OSHA Standard on Blood Borne Pathogens, (29 CFR 1910.1030) (Annual refresher required)
Who Should Attend: Members of the Emergency Response Team or Medical Department staff who respond to medical emergencies at the facility.


Course Name: CPR, AED and First Aid Train the Trainer
Description: This combined training class provides the participants with the ability to perform all the activities listed above. Besides being able to perform first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the participant will know how to recognize bloodborne pathogens and handle them safely. In addition, participants will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to start a patient's heart and increase their chance of survival.
Prerequisites: Blood Borne Pathogens
Requirements Met: According to standards establised by the American Heart Association's in its Heartsaver Training Programs.
Who Should Attend: Members of the Emergency Response Team,Medical Staff, or Electricians who will be providing CPR/AED and basic first aid training to employees of Ford Motor Company


Course Name: First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogen
Description: In this 24-hour program participants will learn how to perform basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator to start a patient’s heart to increase the chance for survival.
Prerequisites: Blood Borne Pathogens
Requirements Met: American Heart Standards for First Aid, CPR and AED
Who Should Attend: Members of the Emergency Response Team or Medical Staff who will respond to medical emergencies at the facility.
